If you don’t know what article marketing is, it is easy to learn, and if you do but are looking for better ways to go about it, then keep reading.

Article marketing simply means writing an article about a product or topic and either publishing it on a website or submitting it to an article directory online. When someone reads your article and clicks through to the product or your website and makes a purchase then you would earn a commission.

It is a free way of getting traffic to your website or even to an article that you’ve written. You can write another article about the topic or something similar and point it to your main article in order to drive traffic to it. Traffic equals sales which of course equal money, and since it is free advertising you earn a pure profit without having to worry about any out of pocket expenses.

I’m sure that anything free sounds too good to be true, but honestly other than the cost of learning how, which I do have a free course by the way, or perhaps the cost of a website which is less than $10 per year, every thing you can do to build your business can be free.

After a time I will write another article with the same keywords (example: “How to Ride a Bike”), I might use the same order or change it up, like Ways to Ride a Bike, and then I will publish my article on EzineArticles or ArticlesBase. You can keep doing this with other directories or find other ways to gradually build links back to your website.

The more strength you build with your website by writing articles on a regular basis or writing articles that point to it, the farther you will reach in the search engine results. The higher you get the more traffic you’ll get, more traffic equals more money, either through selling the product or by making money from Google Adsense.
