Online Stay at Home Jobs

I could have gone with the typical title you see, “The Top 10 Stay at Home Jobs“, but honestly I couldn’t come up with 10 good ones, even my number 4 and 5 are “iffy” if you want to make a real income online, but I threw them in for good measure in case you aren’t looking for a “career” but just a way to make a few hundred dollars every month. Everyone is different and the last thing I want to do is exclude those who just need a little extra cash but aren’t looking to replace their income and quit their job. Although some of you who see the potential of being an internet marketer or even freelance article writer, might consider it! So let’s get right to it, shall we?

1. Internet Marketer – I personally searched high and low trying to uncover a way to make at least $1000/month online in order to replace my part-time job I could no longer work after having kids…it took me 5 years to finally find something, but I did and internet marketing/affiliate marketing was the answer. I don’t want to confuse newbies with the complexities of it, but the bottom line is that you can make a full time income online as an internet marketer and end up over time making what you make in your current job and then some. As an online marketer you are basically a matchmaker between people and products, help people find what they are looking for anyway and you can make a commission in return.

2. Freelance Article Writer – If you want to start making money right away and have less of a learning curve involved you could do freelance article marketing. There are literally thousands of people working online who are willing to pay you to write articles for them. Unique content is key if you are an internet marketer, but sometimes it can be hard to keep up, which is where you would come in. So if you are willing to write a little, you can make money for each article and put money in your pocket right away. If you want to bridge the gap between article writer and an internet marketer, WA Jobs is great because you can learn internet marketing at WA while “working” as an article writer, there are tons of jobs posted on WA Jobs every day.

3. Global Domains International – GDI is kinda cool because if you want to spread the word about this business to people, they will reward you with monthly compensation. It is an MLM but a brilliant one so if you aren’t against those (there really isn’t anything wrong with most MLM’s out there). They give you the material you use to spread the word so you don’t actually have to “sell” anything yourself, just spread the word. The compensation is really good too, even if you just work with GDI, and do it well you will be making a comfortable living online.

4. Project Payday – I don’t endorse this stay at home job strongly, but I will say that it does work for a lot of people and is a legitimate way of making money. It has to do with incentivized freebie websites and in exchange for your information people will pay you to fill out offers for programs and products. I personally don’t like giving out my personal info. so never really liked this kind of online job, but if options 1-3 don’t interest you then I do suggest at least taking a look at this option.

5. Paid Surveys – Taking surveys online has been around awhile and although I made a teensy weeny amount of money with them, I didn’t have the patience for such little pay…BUT they do work and some people who stick with it and do a lot of them, can make some nice extra cash with online surveys.

There you have it, the best stay at home jobs that you’ll find online. If anyone out there finds others, please feel free to add to my list, but after 5 years and a lot of learning these options are truly the best (#1 and #2 being THE best!) While there are many different ways to do it, the method I learned is by becoming an affiliate of a larger company and earning a commission by selling their products. You don’t need a website in order to do this, all you need is your own special link so that you earn the commission and the ability to write a short 400 word article about the product.

It is a simple concept, yet unfortunately most people still don’t know about it. Those that do have been secretly make money online and work at home for quite a few years now. Some make small amounts ranging from $500/month on upwards into the thousands. It is limitless and only dependent on your effort, it is also your own business so you can work when you want and how often you want. The hardest part about this is often the lack of action that is needed for things to happen. But if you can consistently write an article or more a day and keep this going, it shouldn’t be long before you will start to see some money rolling in.

This result is not typical because I cannot guarantee that everyone will take the necessary action and be consistent, but if you are, there should be no reason why you too can’t have an article or a website generating income for you rather quickly.
