Most people are skeptical when they hear about a new program; Wealthy Affiliate is no exception so I have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions I receive about Wealthy Affiliate.

#1 – I am brand new to internet marketing and don’t really have any computer experience, can I still make money online with Wealthy Affiliate?
Of course you can!
I am in the Wealthy Affiliate forums on a daily basis and welcome many of the new members. I have seen first hand a vast array of people, from ages to experience level to locations in the world. The success posts are proof that anyone can make this work and Wealthy Affiliate can help get you started regardless of your current knowledge.
The training center and Wealthy Affiliate action plan is set up for complete beginners and will walk you through step-by-step how to get started and defines exactly what an internet marketer is and how they make money at this business.
If you get stuck along the way, there is a private member’s forum you can visit to get answers. And you can also PM any member of Wealthy Affiliate including Kyle and Carson, the owners, and of course myself.
I have personally gotten responses from both Kyle and Carson and they have been very helpful to me.
Wealthy Affiliate is not only a place with many resources and a first class training center, it is a community full of others who have succeeded and many who are on their way to success as well.
#2 – What is internet marketing?
Internet marketing in a nutshell is marketing that takes place online. Many people make purchases online and there are some out there working as “affiliates” who help direct that traffic to particular products, meaning average people out there are guiding people to the products they are looking for. If someone purchases that product and the link was an “affiliate’s” link, that affiliate will make a commission. Don’t be bothered if this process confuses you at first, you are not alone. But Wealthy Affiliate will help explain it all.
#3 – Why is Wealthy Affiliate $97/month instead of a one-time payment, and should I be worried about hidden fees or up-sells?
Wealthy Affiliate is an online university that provides you with an education and many helpful resources and tools. Think of the $97 as a tuition that gives you access to this education and these tools. There are no hidden fees or up-sells, once inside you are in and have access to everything we’ve talked about. There is a one-time payment option if you would like to sign up for 1 year (in fact this will take the monthly amounts down to $29.99 if you prefer this type of payment).
#4 – How long will it take to make my first sale?
This is probably the question I get the most. And the answer really is all dependent upon you and how much action you take.
Some people make a sale right away, others take a little longer, this is simply determined by the individual. If you follow the program and take action, you will make money. The time frame is something that cannot be predicted.
#5 – I have no technical savvy, don’t know how to make websites and do not know how to write articles, will this still work for me?
Yes!
Wealthy Affiliate has a website builder so that is already taken care of. Any questions you have in regards to technical problems can be answered by helpful people in the forum and the many tutorials and resources on the Wealthy Affiliate site.
Articles are not as hard to write as many people believe and often the very first one is the hardest one to write. If you can get over that hurdle, it will only get easier from there. If you really don’t want to write articles, there is always the option of doing PPC marketing or even e-mail marketing, or paying others to write the articles for you. There are many different ways to make money online as an internet marketer, and the income potential is unlimited.
