Global Domains International Overview
Global Domains International, otherwise known as GDI, is coined as an “income for life” opportunity. Beginning first as a company to offer the extension .ws as an alternative to the ever so popular .com, it evolved into a business model that helps people make money online simply by spreading the word about the company. There is no selling on your part which is nice, and it doesn’t cost all that much to be a member/affiliate and have your own business, but what always bothered me about it was just the fact that their domain names and web hosting actually costs more than other places I’ve used.
But GDI as an business opportunity wasn’t about the cost of hosting it was about the income potential and chance to easily have your own online business that was already up and running for you. It is no joke, and it is no scam. It is actually quite a brilliant set up that anyone can do. GDI (Global Domains International) has created a way for its members to use hosting as a means to creating passive income for life.
Pros vs. Cons
Pros:
– Low monthly fee
– Your own website all ready to go
– Fairly easy sell since it costs so little to start
– 7 day free trial
– The retention rate of members is extremely high which means your monthly income stays solid
Cons:
– $10/month starts to add up if you aren’t off setting it with any referrals under you
– You can get free hosting and free websites elswhere
– Domain names and hosting prices are quite high
– Support was lacking
Who is Global Domains International For?
GDI is for anyone who wants to make money on the internet. It’s perfect for newbies, but can work just as well for marketing experts. Your own website is already custom built for you so you can start sending people to it right away and getting referrals under you. The compensation plan is quite lucrative. The income potential is based on $1 per month per each person you sign up. This might not seem like a lot at first but it can add up quickly and as people sign up people under them as well your downline begins to grow – and so does your monthly income.
Global Domains International Tools, Training and Support
There is a community once you’re inside, not just with your upline that can help you. However, I was never very impressed with the support when I was a member.
GDI Price:
It costs $10 per month to be a member/affiliate. This pays for your hosting and domain name.
My Final Say:
I was first introduced to this program about 5 years ago and did end up joining and trying it out. There were only a couple of people who joined under me so I ended up spending more than I made and decided finally to end my monthly payments. I believe this was only because it wasn’t my main focus and I wasn’t trying very hard AND I didn’t yet know what I was doing.
GDI is an interesting an idea, I think it works for a lot of people and has a lot of potential. But it just wasn’t for me…perhaps it was just the timing or perhaps it was because I had already found a better place to learn how to make money online that offers free hosting and 2 free websites…it was a no brainer for me to no longer continue with it.
I was a green internet marketer just learning my way. I didn’t find enough support within this community to do much with the program. That being said, it does work for others.

VERDICT: LEGIT
If you want to see the place I call my online home, the one I mentioned above that offers free training, support and free web hosting, please read my review of WA. Oh, and WA also has a really great affiliate income model, I’d say one that definitely rivals GDI. But unlike GDI which borders on period scheme, WA does not.
Have you tried GDI? Please leave me a comment below with your thoughts on the matter and any questions you might have.
Thanks!
