Top 5 Stay at Home Jobs – Find Which One Will Work For You

What Are The Top Careers?

Ideas for Working from HomeI could have gone with the typical title you see, “The Top 10 Stay at Home Jobs“, but honestly I couldn’t come up with 10 good ones, even my number 4 and 5 are “iffy” if you want to make a real income online, but I threw them in for good measure in case you aren’t looking for a “career” but just a way to make a few hundred dollars every month.

Everyone is different and the last thing I want to do is exclude those who just need a little extra cash but aren’t looking to replace their income and quit their job. Although, for those of you who see the potential of being an internet marketer or even freelance article writer, you might consider it!

So let’s get right to it, shall we?

Top 5 Stay at Home Jobs

Top 5 Stay at Home Jobs
1. Internet Marketer – I personally searched high and low trying to uncover a way to make at least $1000/month online in order to replace my part-time job I could no longer work after having kids. It took me 5 years to finally find something, but I did and internet marketing/affiliate marketing was the answer. In my opinion, this is the BEST job for moms or dads who want more freedom to be with their family.

I don’t want to confuse newbies with the complexities of it, but the bottom line is that you can make a full time income online as an internet marketer and end up over time making what you make in your current job and then some. This is one of the best work from home careers that you’ll find. You get to be your own boss, run your own online company, and make passive income that can pay you for years to come.

As an online marketer you are basically a matchmaker between people and products/services/information. Help people find what they are looking for and you can make a commission in return (even if they don’t BUY anything!) Read my full review for how to learn internet marketing for free.

2. Instant Payday Network – This job is great for someone who just wants to “work” and make money now, as opposed to building a business (which is what you are doing when you are an internet marketer). Not to say that this isn’t a business, but it isn’t a way to make passive income, unless you combine the two and create a website that markets the opportunity – which you can totally do.) The other side of it though if you aren’t interested in doing that is simply to use Craiglist as your marketing method and to work primarily on the phone or via e-mail. Read my full review of Instant Payday Network to find out how just a few short phone calls per day could potentially make you $100/day or more.

3. Freelance Article Writer – If you want to start making money right away and have less of a learning curve involved you could do freelance article marketing. There are literally thousands of people working online who are willing to pay you to write articles for them.

Unique content is key if you are an internet marketer, but sometimes it can be hard to keep up, which is where you would come in. So if you are willing to write a little (typically between 500-1000 words per article), you can make money for each article and put money in your pocket right away.

4. Bubblews – I wouldn’t really call this a “job”, but it is a way to make money from home. Essentially, you post various things (anything really) and this company will pay you a percentage based on views and shares. The posts can be very short and about any topic and you can post as often as you like. You can read my full review of Bubblews here.

5. Get Cash for Surveys – Taking surveys online has been around awhile and although I made a teensy weeny amount of money with them, I didn’t have the patience for such little pay…BUT they do work and some people who stick with it and do a lot of them, can make some nice extra cash with online surveys.

There you have it, the “top” 5 stay at home jobs that you’ll find online. I put top in quotes because I think you know that some of those can’t really be considered a job. But I’ve been doing this a long time and while there are many different ways of making money using the internet (selling your own creations being one of them), the only ones that I would truly consider a job out of those 5 are internet marketer, freelance writer, and IPN.

Freelance work by the way can include many different things. If you can find an outlet to offer your services and talents to, such as editor, programmer, etc…, there are many ways to work from home.

I’d love to help you get started if you would like to try internet marketing. Read my full review of Wealthy Affiliate (the free online university where I learned) and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I think one of the best things about what Wealthy Affiliate teaches is that you can do this work WHILE working other jobs and this job has the potential for passive income (whereas your other job probably does not.) Plus, since you can join and learn for free, there’s nothing to lose. You can learn on your own time at your own speed and it’s free. You can then work on your own time and create something that will build during the years. I think that’s pretty cool myself 🙂

Thanks!

Project Payday Review – The Project Payday Scam?

Simply put, Project Payday is a way to make money online. The question is, is it the RIGHT way for YOU to make money online?

I found Project Payday while running my many searches to find a stay at home job. I was incredibly excited after I discovered it, was even planning on keeping it a secret from my hubby (we don’t really keep secrets!) until I started to rake in the dough.

I signed up, learned everything I needed to in order to get started and then was just about to put in my first offer when I stopped cold in my tracks.

So What is Project Payday and What Kept it From Working for Me?

Project Payday is a business that was put together to help you profit from those “offers” you see online for free stuff. You know the ones…give me your information (name, address, e-mail) and we’ll send you THIS (a computer, TV, camera…the list goes on). All YOU have to do is complete a few of these offers and it’s yours.

You’ve seen those right?

Anyway, Project Payday teaches people how they can actually make money by completing these offers. The idea is this…You strike up an agreement with someone who is willing to pay you say…$25 for completing an offer. You give all of your information out (sometimes this requires you to actually give your credit card number and have a charge for something that you HAVE to remember to cancel, or else you could be billed monthly for insane amounts) and in exchange you’ll make $25.

The idea is simple enough, but what stopped me was the fact that I would have to be SIGNING up for all of this stuff, and while there is the potential to actually get free stuff too, PLUS the money from your agreement with someone. I just wasn’t very thrilled at the idea of always having my credit card number out there AND having to keep track of everything lest be charged monthly for who knows how much. Call me crazy, but I just couldn’t do it.

Now, I know there are people out there making this work, and after you get the hang of it you can switch and be the one offering the $25 for other people to complete the offers, this is DEFINITELY the better place to be, but until you do that…in my opinion it is just too risky and too much of a hassle.

So that’s it in a nutshell, Project Payday, fill out information for those Incentivized Freebie Websites, in exchange for money.

I’m not going to say Project Payday is a scam or say anything negative about it, it does and is working for others. Plus, if it weren’t for Project Payday I never would have found Wealthy Affiliate. And without Wealthy Affiliate I would still be searching online for a way to make money.

But I’m not. Wealthy Affiliate taught me how. And now I am doing something completely above board without risk that I am willing to do.

If you aren’t up for the hassle of Project Payday, but you still want to make money online, I can show you how I’m doing it. CLICK HERE to read my story and I’ll explain exactly what I do.
