The Bring the Fresh Program

I was around when Bring the Fresh was first introduced, it has changed a bit since the founders split up in early 2013. As of today it is only run by Kelly Felix (the originator of the Rich Jerk, you remember that one right?) – all of these programs coming and going is making me feel old. But I’m not. Things just change quite quickly online. But I digress.

The program used to be a membership, and it is now a one-time payment (with lots of shady upsells) – upsells really bother me – I don’t know about you, but they usually make me run from a program pretty quickly. It’s a shame, because there are some programs out there that are actually pretty good and they have upsells, because upsells are where the big money is at, and “most” internet marketers know that.

Bring the Fresh is a website building software that includes training that you will need in order to make the websites a profitable home business. While the software is supposed to “do everything for you”, it doesn’t…

Pros vs. Cos

Pros:
– simple software designed to give you a fully functioning and attractive website
– step-by-step instructions
– money back guarantee
– owners well-known in the industry

Cons:
– most of the training is via webinars which don’t work for everyone
– no promise or guarantee whether your lifetime access will transfer to updated programs (or if you’ll have to buy a new and improved version)
– everything you’ll need to be successful online are not included
– no warning of pending upsells, and they can be quite costly and unnecessary
– no free trial

Who Should Consider Bring the Fresh?

Everyone…Bring the Fresh was constructed as a step-by-step program that is intended to teach you affiliate marketing. If you have the drive and dedication, it is possible to make this program work, however you may need to purchase the upsells in order to get everything you need and I was particularly unimpressed by the support when I purchased it years ago. Yes, they wrote me back. But their answers were not helpful and did not get me anywhere. I found the assistance and support at Wealthy Affiliate to be much better.

What Tools and Training Are Included?

Training is provided via webinars and personal responses from the support desk. Web hosting is not included however. There are article creation and spinner tools as well as link builders (some of which these days I would be very wary to use). Additional tools are optional.

When I was a member…hmmm…I might still be a member…I dropped off. Oops. Anyway, there were so many videos, I found I didn’t have the time. I’m a busy girl. I can read faster than I can watch, so having a mixture of the two is a preference for me. Or just give me something to read – or answer my questions. That’s what I like. Videos, can be helpful. Too many videos…well, they can be overwhelming and time consuming.

The information and tools is updated whenever Google makes changes and specialized keywords are given to those who are just starting out.

Is there Quality Support?

I would have to say no. As I said above…although they answered my questions, they didn’t ever really “answer” my questions. There is a customer service page and a forum, currently around 9,000 members.

How much does it cost?

To start there is a one week trial period that costs $7. after that there is an option for lifetime access which costs $37. After you are a member they offer you a “private” or “exclusive” group option which would cost you additional amounts for paid products and services.

If you choose the $89 offer you’ll still have to buy “other” services that require monthly expenses to get your business up and running. My head is spinning from all of the upsells. Some people have even complained that they are getting calls directly from Kelly Felix and his team offering mentoring packages that run in the $1,000 of dollars. Personally, I don’t appreciate that kind of behavior – and it doesn’t suprise me that the owners parted ways.

I’d much rather see you in a place where the community really cares about you and will help you on your path to success online.

My Final Opinion:

Although it is a pretty good program, that I myself purchased and used for a time, I would stay away from any upsells if you do decide to purchase. The program itself was well put together with a lot of content, tools and support, especially the adjustments and updates that accommodate the many changes online. But in all – I personally know of a better place with better support and better tools and far less sneaky tactics which is why I ranked it rather low.

It isn’t a scam, but it isn’t the best.
