The Product
Coffee Shop Millionaire is a product that is supposed to teach you the very basics of internet marketing. It utilizes training modules and other lessons but as it is aptly named “millionaire”, people often get unreal expectations from the product and join with the expectation that they will soon be rolling in the dough. But internet marketing doesn’t work that way – no matter who you are. Created by Anthony Trister, an extremely good salesman by the way, but not necessarily one you should trust – his products may sell, but that doesn’t mean they should.
What Are the Pros and Cons?
Pros:
– low investment cost per month (although…if the product isn’t quality, I’m not sure this can be a pro)
– website is pretty upfront about earning potential and the amount of work that it takes to be successful
Cons:
– the only positive reviews of this product are the result of a GURU launch
– many unexpected additional expenses per month
– earning potential not typically of the millionaire level, despite the name
– no support or mentoring offered
– a lot of complaints by previous customers
– not kept up to date
– a TON of upsells
Who Should Purchase This Product?
I’m going to go out on a limb and say…no one. But who it is intended for is supposedly everyone at any level. You can watch each module any time you like, so you can learn at your own pace, but if you are expecting a “hands off” program…a) they don’t exist and b) this isn’t one.
There is no community activity, so if you want or expecting support, you aren’t going to find any. Although it is marketed for any level, there is a hidden assumption that if you buy this product you already have some idea form of internet marketing knowledge. Do not buy this product if you are a complete beginner.
Tools and Training Offered:
– twelve training modules that will get you started
– videos that offer information about the websites communication forums and community – which do allow specific questions
– supposed “cheat sheet” that outlines a system that can allow you to make $21k in just a couple of weeks…this is not possible – so…don’t believe it.
– “cash machines” section that covers marketing topics including, email marketing, video marketing, and article submission. However, training is rather vague.
Support?
Helloooo….elloooo…
Although standard customer support options (phone and email) are claimed…most elementary questions go unanswered within the community – and if you are expecting a response withint email…don’t hold your breath. The CSM Facebook page has TONS of unanswered complains, which for me is a sign that there is very limited support of this product.
Price?
The standard prive is $37, however there are a ton of upsells, be warned. Immediately upon purchase you are asked to upgrade to another product called the “Six Figure Success Club” – that will cost you $297! For those of you who are not experienced with these products, and the “gotcha” marketing tactic used by many gurus, I warn you to stay away from this upsell.
The price of $37 does not include website creation, buying a domain or hosting. Which are all things you will need in order to be successful online. Right after you join you will be told to buy hosting right away.
My Final Say:
If you do a search for this product you may find a lot of positive reviews. However, these are partners of Coffee Shop Millionaire that have probably never even used the product. So be warned.
Do a search on Google and you’ll find lengthy videos that take forever to watch. None of which mention all of the upsells – which is a huge negative factor with this product. $37 from this product isn’t going to get you what you need in order to start an online business and be successful.
This program is “ok”, but personally all of the slimy marketing techniques used to get you to join and the little support that is offered once you do makes me give this program 2 thumbs down.
