Organo Gold Coffee Overview
Organo Gold is a network marketing opportunity that leverages the huge demand for coffee. It is a legitimate business opportunity founded by Bernardo Chua and markets an instant coffee product that is a healthier alternative to regular coffee. The product is a full flavored gourmet coffee that is infused with health benefits from Ganoderma lucidum (also known as Reishi or Lingzhi.) It has been coined the “supernatural mushroom”, is an ancient and valuable herbal medicine and does not come cheap.
The business model of Organo Gold allows anyone to market this unique product and build a successful business…but there is a catch. The price and the commitment.

Pros:
– selling a great product that is in high demand
– fairly small investment upfront
– training and mentorship
The Bad:
– it’s a network marketing company, MLM
– asks you to utilize friends, family, strangers to build your business
– required to attend local hotel meetings, do three way calls with you upline, pass out samples, dvds, etc in order to get referrals
– many people fail because these types of marketing strategies are HARD
Who is Organo Gold For?
The coffee? Well, the coffee and other products by Organo Gold are for anyone and the health benefits are a huge bonus. The business? The business is a little trickier because although it is established and legitimate, it is still an MLM which are notorious for failure. Why? Because the types of marketing techniques they teach just simply aren’t for everyone, the percentage of people who fail with these kinds of business models is quite large.
Organo Gold Tools & Training
Organo Gold has a “University” where you can begin learning how to market the product. Typically you’ll be brought in under a mentor who will take you under their wing and show you the ropes. You will be on conference calls (the one I was on took quite some time and was mostly hype…the price when they finally told me to get started was enough for me to walk away and say no way – that and I’ve tried so many MLM’s with no success for the same reasons I mentioned above. That being said, if you can see yourself marketing to friends and family and you are brave enough to approach strangers, are passionate about the product then anything is possible for you. It really depends on the person.

The same tools and training and mentor mentioned above are your support. Be prepared for requests to attend meetings, local and telephone and take an active part in bringing in new recruits. (This also was not for me.)

My Final Say:
While Organo Gold is a legitimate business that sells a quality product, the model itself is difficult for most and many will fail who attempt it. If you hate approaching friends and family to build your business, dislike attending meetings and/or taking part in conference calls, then this opportunity is probably not for you. While you may get support from your mentor, they are probably nearly as green as you. In order to truly succeed with any business you need a mentor or coach who is already successful who can show you the way. And you need a business model that you are comfortable with. I personally have left my comfort zone several times trying MLM’s, because I wanted a better life. I wanted passive income. Guess what? I failed. And not because I wasn’t determined and didn’t try. But because getting support from those around you for these types of things is REALLY hard!
