The Product
Empower Network (EN) is simply another MLM product that tries to lure people in promising huge monetary payouts. The problem is, many people think that it is a real opportunity because there are a lot of people pushing the product and making money…because a lot of the time, the hype is enough to convince people to join. So of course there are some making money off of it! But there are a lot of complaints about this product and below I’m going to tell you why.
I will break down the program for you in a minute, but you should know that Empower Network is one of the lowest ranked products that I’ve reviewed. Many associated with the program are shady marketers who you should avoid at all costs.
Pros vs. Cons
Pros:
– *silence* I can’t think of any…unless you count getting your own empowernetwork.com blog
Cons:
– there isn’t actually a product with Empower Network, you are the product and the goal is to simply build a downline
– pyramid scheme
– if you join be prepared to become a ruthless sales person
– upsells galore
– minimum investment is $140/month
– must pay $20 per month just so you can get paid (what?!)
– numerous complaints
– no access to owners
– no free trial
Who is Empower Network for?
Can I just say, no one? EN claims that everyone who joins Empower Network will make money with little money and little work, that it runs on autopilot. Yeah..right. Anyone can join, but you have to work very hard to build a downline if you’re going to make any money from this product and since there really is no product. Well.
Empower Network Payment Scheme
The more you learn about this program the more confusing it gets. If you remember pen mail where you send something to 5 people, they send another 5 people, etc…and the person at the top gets paid the most…well that’s kinda what it’s like.
And don’t be fooled, you’re never at the top of the pyramid, the owners and a few people who were there are the beginning are.
Empower Network Tools & Training
There are many different levels of training offered at Empower, all of which come with different costs. The training is primarily dependent on who you sign-up. Some of the upline affiliates will offer you support, in order to make them even more money, but don’t count on that.
And as mentioned above about upsells, you’ll be offered many “upgrade” options enticing you that you’ll earn even more “if you do this…”. It’s called going “All in.” Please don’t fall for this. They’ll make you feel like you just don’t have the guts to be successful if you don’t do it. Talk about peer pressure.
Bottom line, you buy all the stuff they offer (which can amount to $5,000!) and that money will go directly to your uplines and their uplines. If you don’t buy no one makes anything.
If you want to earn money online in a legal and ethical way, Empower Network is not for you.
Does Empower Network Offer ANY Support?
In short. No. Not without an extra cost. There is an “Inner Circle” which costs $100 per month for videos – but that’s not personal training. Anything that does not offer personal support or coaching will never be recommended by me. You cannot contact the owners directly either, the owners are only active in the promotion of their product and motivating everyone to promote their so-called “product”.
There have been many complaints as well that they have been belittled within the EN community by their “team leaders” if they don’t go all in.
In comparison to Empower Network, my #1 recommended product offers full one-on-one support and mentoring where the owners are actually involved – as well as receiving help from me if you join, real help. Not conditional.
How Much Does it Cost to Join Empower Network?
That’s a complicated question. Here’s a breakdown.
Blog Beast
This is their blogging system will cost you $25 per month. This fee is required just to take part in EN to get your own blog that every member gets. There’s nothing unique or special about your blog, it’s the same as everyone elses. And be warned that your blog is attached to the EmpowerNetwork.com domain which is being flagged as SPAM by the search engines…that’s not going to work in you favor for something that is already nearly impossible to be successful with.
You will also not “own” the content you create on your blog. When you join you sign a disclaimer stating that you don’t own any of the content create. That’s just ridiculous.
Most of these blogs have lost their rankings in the search engine as of May 2013 and are not find for their own keywords. This is due to Google deeming them as SPAM.
e-wallet
Costs $19.99 per month. If you want to get paid, you have to pay for this service. This is ridiculous and really shouldn’t be considered legal. Paypal and other normal merchant accounts would never allow a company to do such a thing!
Inner Circle
$100 per month. But it’s not what you think. You will only be getting access to some audios and joining this allows you to get paid higher commissions ($100 residuals), but it isn’t an actual product. The entire setup seems like a magic trick, an illusion.
Costa Rica Intensive
This will set you back $500! This is a video sequence that focuses on building a business for the long term – but it simply revolves around promoting Empower Network to other people…and what are you promoting…nothing!
The $15K Formula
One-time payment of $1,000. It is another video series consisting of 9 videos total, each video is about 2 hours long. The videos discuss a variety of things, including…you guess it, how to promote EN online, using YouTube, Facebook, etc…however EN can no longer be promoted via these channels – ummmm red flag anyone?
The Masters Retreat
Costs $3,000 and is a series of 41 mostly motivational videos. That just seems utterly ridiculous to me. Don’t fall for this please. People in your upline are simply profiting off of you at this point, taking money from people who are determined but probably desperate to make something work. There are better programs out there I assure you!
Empower Network is expensive! It is definitely overpriced for what you are receiving.
My Final Say on Empower Network (EN):
Empower Network is NOT a product. It is simply a system of recruiting others into a system so that your upline can make money. Pyramid schemes like this get a bad rep for a reason – they are a ripoff and offer no real quality to the consumer or potential business owner (you). You get bullied by your upline to buy and then when you see the truth it is too late and you’ve been suckered and you feel like an idiot. This is your warning from me. Run away from EN. I mention En only one other time in another review I wrote about another product. But I have never signed up for it and I don’t recommend you do.
It is not a real opportunity, it is not a real product and although you’ll see a lot of hype around it from other people promoting it – now you know why they are so excited. Because they want your money, that is the only reason. Don’t fall for it.
